I have not had any problem / malfunctions related to the 10 round short magazine. Works better for me than the 25 round magazines. Great price and service from Allied.

I don't understand why S&W doesnt just give you this short box mag instead of the longer 10rnd mag. It works great. It's just right for my rifle with bipod. The longer mag was just too long for 10 rnds and it made my gun teeter.
I got 3, will get more.

Reliable magazine

I live in CA so a longgg 10/25 mag. has no purpose for me so I will continue to buy the 10 round shorties. Great clearance when shooting prone or off a bench. The polymer body is actually pretty darn strong as I've dropped the long and short magazines from the magwell onto a concrete floor(indoor range) and on hardpack dirt with zero problems with chipping, cracking or feeding issues. Has the load assist button on the side unlike the 10/25's so there's a plus. Only negative one would really have is if you use these in some type of rig where a mag pouch is made for longer magazines. Not much to grab. Very good price here on Allied.

Perfect if shooting from a bench

Just like John said above. I got these so I could shoot my rifle off of a bipod or rest from the bench. They feed perfectly and have never had any problems. AA shipped them out fast and packed very well. A+

The regular long mags make it impossible to shoot this rifle from off of a bench. Exactly what I needed.
